We are heading to Yellowstone in the morning. Tonight was a perfect closure to our two weeks in Bozeman. We all went out for delicious pizza at Mackenzie River Pizza company and then for a walk in Burke’s park and up Peet’s Hill overlooking the city at sunset. Gorgeous city…
We’ve enjoyed the stay And Brian is officially a Master of Science in Science Education! Woot!
I’m going to miss it here, though I hear they have a fitting PhD program….hmmmmm…
We’ve eaten well and spent some good time with my cousin Lara and her squeezable, huggable, adorable baby Beau (Cute photos of Beau and Sam forthcoming), who drove over from Spokane, WA to visit. I’ve gotten almost all of my “must dos” out of the way, and we enjoyed a lovely date night as well one night. The weather has been a bit cooler in the second week and downright cold at night in a tent!
I gotta admit, I’ve run into a snag with getting my posts up. My external hard drive is not being read by my computer, so I haven’t been able to get my food photos up and posted…blurg.
As we head off into the wilderness of Yellowstone for a couple of days, I won’t be posting, but I’m sure you’ll hear from me once we reach the other side and figure out our journey home from there. Hopefully, for my sake, it will be less interesting than our trip out…we’ll see. Just keeping our fingers crossed- and our hands sanitized- that no one contracts the Noro virus that has reportedly been going around Yellowstone!
Any National Parks on your agenda these days? Leaving somewhere you’re gonna miss?
